Sister Epic

Sister Epic is a female-owned contemporary handbag brand designed for functional life and the intentional collector. This conceptual photoshoot was a collaboration between myself, Art Director Elysia Newman, and the brand owner Adrienne Guariglia. "The Black Edit"—a monochromatic collection of leather bags—was a pared back study in contrasts: structured forms against fluid motion, rich leather textures within minimal compositions. We aimed to capture the collection's subtle details through still photography, while incorporating blurred movement to create visual abstractions of form.

The resulting lookbook imagery was used for years following this photoshoot, drawing attention to both the timeless nature of Sister Epic's silhouettes and the simple, laid-back beauty of the brand's aesthetic. This visual approach successfully bridged the brand's dual identity—capturing both the considered craftsmanship of each piece and the dynamic life it's designed for.
